An organization established by Sand Group in 2021 in Sayoun Hadramout - Yemen by a group of ambitious young people who felt a sense of duty towards their country and demonstrated a true commitment to addressing and resolving sensitive societal issues to achieve a peaceful homeland

Areas of work

Sand Foundation for Development works through international, local, private and governmental partnerships in the following areas:

Education

To build an educated society free from illiteracy, combat children’s dropout from schools and encourage them to continue their education.

Health

Providing basic and emergency health care to communities the least fortunate and living in areas lacking basic health services

Food security

Fighting hunger and poverty and providing the most important requirements of living for poor and displaced families

Culture and Arts

Promoting arts and education makes cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable by building peace in the minds of men and women in the community.

Livelihood

Improving livelihood opportunities through diverse skills acquisition programmes, combating unemployment and qualifying for the labour market

Protection and Shelter

Providing and facilitating access to adequate shelter and implementing protection activities for affected and most vulnerable communities
